POEM – “Porthallow Pensive”
Occasionally, I am inspired to write a poem. This one came to me at Porthallow Cove in Cornwall when I was sitting and listening to the waves on the rocks, while a gentle breeze wafted around me.
Boats are beached
Cars are parked
Dogs play in the sea
Sailing boats on the horizon
It’s a quiet time for me
To meditate and let the breeze
Blow troubled thoughts away
The sun is warm, but not too hot
The perfect holiday
I can really relate to the poem of the sea 🌊 I could imagine myself sitting along side you having that moment… Peaceful..
Thanks, Joan. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
